Black ruffled scale His breath poisoned and stale Red eyes pierce the ground and sky Hunger evading, prey he soughts ultimately to die Leaping into the air he soars Down he flies unto the hidden shores His claws outstretched, now creature within its grips The prey looks up and throws itself forward and head dipped Too late it struggled in the claws of the dragon whoes grip became tighter But alas the little creature was a fighter It strained and it screaled but there was no glimmer of hope Its heart failed the pressure full on, it could nt cope It was too much, his heart stopped with the continued pain Up to the heavens it flew and back down again He saw himself limp on the floor But looking back up he headed for the open door The dragon saddened for its pain Watching the blood pour out, how it drained His tail whipped back and forth Fire protuded through those nostrils, roasted prey was his course |
